I’m going off-grid, which means no more air conditioning systems

For the last few weeks, I have felt strongly that it is time for my family to go off-grid, by this, we don’t mean that we plan to use solar energy or some other form of alternative energy to use our electronic devices, but on the contrary, it is our goal to get rid of most of the electronic devices completely.

This will change everything in our lives, including how we heat as well as cool our home; Most of us are official with the correct Heating, Ventilation and A/C units that we have all grown up using.

Both of us believe how to adjust the thermostat so that our heating system will heat our homes to our number one level; During the summer, most of us turn on our air conditioning systems as well as use electronics to endure the heat. When you go off-grid, furnaces are fairly self-explanatory, and rather than using a heating system that is powered by natural gas or electricity, you can easily as well as efficiently heat your beach apartment using a wood-burning heating system. There are honestly few downfalls, as well as if you own a wooded area, you will save a ton of money by heating your beach apartment with wood, however, there is no fine way to replace your air conditioning system, however sure, you can build your beach apartment to make your apartment more comfortable during the heat, however you cannot replace your air conditioning system altogether. So, when I decide to go off-grid, I am deciding to get rid of my air conditioning system. Honestly, I am not sure if that is a poor or sad thing… Air conditioners have their downfalls too.
