A ‘zoo’ needs HvAC
When I was a kid, I was always bringing home dogs or cats that I found on the street.
I once brought home a baby rabbit, but my mom told me I had to release it into the wild. Now that I have gotten older, I still want to rescue animals. I don’t want to see them suffer, so I bring them home. I have to tell you that over time, my home had a very distinctive odor to it. I had several cats, about a dozen dogs, two snakes and a turtle. I was ready to turn this into a rescue center and I had to get the animals out of my home, or my wife was leaving. I also had a problem with the energy bills being so high as I was running the HVAC system twenty-four seven, trying to keep the air quality livable. I was pretty sure that if I didn’t do something different, my neighbors would start complaining because the odor would be invading their homes. I knew my HVAC system was over 20 years old, so it was in need of being replaced. I turned my garage into a shelter and I put an animal playground in the acre lot that was behind my home. I then called the HVAC company. They told me that I needed an air purifier for the new system and I had to get air filters that were made just for animal lovers. I had to purchase a heavier HVAC system and an air purification system to go with it, and have it extended into my garage.
