Change your thermostat a few degrees to save a bunch of money

The summer is coming and that means your HVAC bill is going to start getting higher.

What if I told you that your HVAC bill didn’t have to get higher? A lot of people don’t believe me when I tell them that my winter HVAC bill is more than my summer HVAC bill. People think that running an AC unit costs much more money, but that isn’t the case if you follow my HVAC tips. The first tip that I have for you is to turn your thermostat down a few degrees. Let’s say that you usually set your HVAC system to run at 70. If you turn your thermostat to 71, you are not likely to notice a big change. If you really want to save even more money I suggest turning the HVAC system to 72, and then using some ice packs in your pockets to cool you down. You could also try taking a cold shower instead of turning your HVAC system to full blast. Once you get in the habit of these HVAC saving tips and you see the discounts, you will never want to turn your HVAC system to full blast again! I also have some tips for saving HVAC in the winter, but they really only work if you have a fireplace. My old house had a fireplace and it saved me so much money on my HVAC bill. I am thinking about getting a gas fireplace so I can continue to save money on my HVAC bill year round.
