I was raised in an apartment that now is a printing shop

I grew up living upstairs from what was known as a copy shop at the time.

Back then technology wasn’t as advanced as it is today, so mostly they just made photocopies.

This was in the late 1970s, and my how things have changed since that time. The people I was with and I never even could imagine having a portable cellphone that could allow you to do just about anything. We really weren’t legitimately far past using mimeograph machines, with a hand crank! Recently I went back to our old hometown, and saw that the copy shop had since been expanded, and was now a modern commercial printing store. They took over the whole building, our old apartment and the others, just to make enough space for all the printers and laminators they needed! I went inside and checked everything out until I found our old site, which was a space designated for tagless t-shirt digital printers. One of their several printing services was to produce custom designed shirts for people. Pretty much anyone who had a digital design could have it digitally printed on a cotton shirt! I thought this was fantastic, despite the fact that I don’t have any shirt ideas so I doubt I would use that printing service for myself. I spoke to the manager of the commercial printers for a short while, and told him I used to live there. He was nice but he didn’t really care all that much, and who could blame him; the commercial printing supplier was much too busy to really pay attention to my particular story.
