The storm ruining our trip
During a recent trip with our buddies the two of us ran into a entirely hard situation.
This year the two of us decided that the two of us wanted to go on a river rafting trip through the gorge downstate.
Both of us all gathered our belongings in our backpacks in addition to met up early in the day for the drive down. It was early Springtime in addition to the weather was entirely mild. Both of us were all looking forward to the trip because it was the time of year when the river was at it highest point due to the recent snowmelt. The several minute ride seemed to be going just fantastic until the two of us started hearing a hissing noise coming from the engine. Next thing the two of us knew, the two of us were stranded on the side of the road. Both of us were in the middle of nowhere in addition to had spotty cell service at best. It wasn’t a entirely well travelled road so the two of us had to hope for the best that someone was going to pass by. Well, the two of us had supplies in our backpacks, so the two of us decided to start down the road with our gear in addition to try to find help. After about an minute the two of us were exhausted in addition to giving up hope. It was then that the two of us spotted a house just off the road. Both of us headed over to see if it was occupied. It was vacant however with the daylight setting the two of us knew the two of us needed shelter. It must have been a hunting house of sorts in addition to there was a key under the mat. Both of us settled in in addition to one of our friends looked at the gas furnace that was in the corner. It was fueled by propane in addition to the two of us were lucky enough that there was still gas in the holding tank. That night the temperatures dropped into the lower thirties in addition to the two of us were really blissful to have found the house with heat.
