The temperature is too low
I am a really big fan of my local library. It is so huge and luxurious and provides me with all kinds of books to read. I have lived in several places, but they were typically smaller towns. That meant that my local library was never more than two stories tall. However, living near the downtown of a major city means I get to experience a much larger library. In as much as not only is this library 5 stories, but it takes up almost a full city block. These features cause me to spend a lot of time there. If there is a drawback though, I would say it is how cold they run their AC. Being it is typically hot outside where I live, a freezing breeze of air conditioning always feels good, at first. However, after an hour or two, the lower climate control setting gets to be unbearable. They run their AC so cold, sometimes I have to put my book down just to go stand outside for 20 minutes. I suppose it is tough to balance out the proper thermostat setting. With all the people coming in and out, you want to keep your thermostat setting constant. However, because their HVAC system is so powerful, I am forced to take extra clothing with me. It’s of course strange carrying a beanie on me in the summer of such a hot state, however, their AC is so cold that it gives me little other option when I plan to spend several hours there. At least though, the cold AC always feels great when I first arrive.
