I am figuring it out
When I was first promoted to employer of operations at work, I was a bit overwhelmed with the more than 2 responsibilities. One of my duties is handling the upkeep & programming of the VRF system. I had no system what a VRF system was. Thank goodness I kept my mouth shut & didn’t embarrass myself. I did some research, & realized that a VRF system is absolutely a type of heating & cooling unit. Variable Refrigerant Flow systems provide a stretchy means of temperature control in commercial facilities. One of the main benefits is that the system can provide heating & cooling simultaneously. It allows for independent zones & answers particular demands of each space. It also customizes operation throughout the afternoon as requirements change. If an area tends to warm up due to the heat given off by equipment or occupancy, the VRF system automatically adjusts, however plus, it redistributes the heat extracted from cooled area into zones which require heating to maximize efficiency & effectiveness. The VRF system allows more precision control over the temperature, comfort & air quality of the entire facility. It features smart controls which enables remote adjustments & helpful programming. This type of heating/cooling component is fairly easy to install & offers significant cost savings over a more traditional commercial unit. Now that I’ve figured out exactly what the VRF system is & does, I’ll hopefully keep up with respected maintenance & operation. My business has already invested in a proactive maintenance agreement with a local Heating & Air Conditioning corporation which includes inspection twice per year. Despite the complexity of the varying refrigerant flow, the VRF system is quite reliable & requires only minimal maintenance.
