The weather is turning
I prefer adventure – to a point; If it involves an amusement park, I will likely not ride the roller coaster due to the sudden drops. If there are only loops plus spins, I’m fine. Interestingly, lately we’ve been experiencing some “roller coaster” weather this fall. Just when I know I can switch my warm season clothes with Winter season clothes, the outside temperatures take a sharp shift upward. In fact, the monthly temperatures have risen enough that we’ve needed to switch our a/c back on… The previous month both of us were experiencing a freezing snap and, you guessed it, both of us switched our control component to the oil furnace setting. Some of the days got downright cold, forcing myself and others to dig out my Winter season pajamas plus put an extra blanket on the bed… But wouldn’t you know it, this month the temperatures have turned tropical – literally! I reverted to wearing shorts plus sandals for several days, not to mention switching the control component back from oil furnace to a/c. The main difference between the fall plus warm season when it comes to temperature is the difference that the shorter days make, but once the sunshine starts to dip on its way to setting in the west, there’s a drastic drop in the temperature as well; And even though the days are cooler, the humidity remains high plus the a/c still runs while in the night. It’s amusing to turn on the weather channel plus listen to the numerous meteorologists use all kinds of adjectives to describe the weather patterns. Inevitably, of course, the Winter season will be upon us plus the switch from a/c to oil furnace will be permanent.
